Welcome to Susquehanna Aquacultures, Inc.

At Susquehanna Aquacultures, Inc., we specialize in growing hybrid striped bass. These fish are commercially grown and harvested on our fish farm in York Haven, Pennsylvania. Hybrids, a cross between striped bass and white bass, have bright silver skin with broken black lateral stripes.

At Susquehanna Aquacultures, Inc., to ensure great taste and freshness, these farm-raised fish are harvested only upon order and are usually shipped alive to customers.

We deliver 1-2lb (and larger) fish alive to angling and food customers in the eastern United States, including private lakes, sportsman clubs, conservation groups, fishing preserves, fee fishing lakes, camp grounds, and live fish markets. The hybrid (or Wiper) is one of the "fightingest fish in fresh water," according to any fisherman who catches one.

Steamed whole, with a little ginger, scallion, soy and hot oil dribbled over (as in any fine Chinese restaurant in Philadelphia, New York City, or Toronto), any diner would say, "There's hardly a better fish dish!"

Hybrid striped bass have a mild, sweet taste and a flaky texture. They are also a good protein source and are low in calories, fats and cholesterol. Our fish are available year-round for eating and from April to October for stocking.
